Despite the heat Thursday morning, Summer Reading Participants found their way to the Green River Tail Water Recreation Area for the second annual Eco Meet sponsored and hosted by Green River Corp. of Engineers Campbellsville Division. These dedicated rangers had Learning Stations set up through out the grounds for kids as well as parents to explore. Participants learned about local reptiles, how to properly cast a fishing pole and bait a hook, what it is like to be under the influence of alcohol and how to make an animal foot print cast of out of plaster. The Campbellsville Fire and Rescue Team were also present with their life saving knowledge to answer questions as well as let the kids examine their extensive equipment.
