The Pelham Branch Story was re-enacted for an audience of 42 on October 10th here at the library in the adjoining lot. Local talent portrayed the fight between the Pelham brothers vs Col. William Casey, Maj. Nathan Montgomery and two of Capt. John Butler's boys which took place during 1799-1800. These gentleman did a fine job of entertaining us with period accouterments (campsite, clothing, weaponry) as well as realistic fisticuffs! Check out our facebook page for more photos!
